Please encourage friends and neighbors to come. We have some great perks! In addition to a quick update on what the association is focussed on, there will be time to socialize, dinner provided by Lori's Cafe, a potluck dessert, and a presentation by resource biologist Wes Ashe about our lake trout (Togue) population, its impact on other fish, and the research studies and mitigation work that is being planned for Sheepscot Lake.
We will also have our classic 50/50 draw and a raffle for this beautiful bench, hand designed and crafted from local timber by Eric Viens and Pamala McKenney. The bench is 33" wide, 10" deep and 17" tall. Please bring cash if you'd like to participate!
You can support the Lake Association by paying dues with check or cash at the meeting or beforehand online here.
All new and current association supporters will be entered in a raffle for a gift pack from the Maine Film Center in Waterville with four tickets to the film(s) of your choice, complete with popcorn!
Located in Palermo, Maine, Sheepscot Lake Association was founded in 2011 for the purpose of working with property owners and local/state officials to preserve, enhance, and protect the beauty of Sheepscot Lake.
Our programs include the Courtesy Boat Inspection, Annual Loon Count, Water Quality Testing, and LakeSmart homeowner education and property evaluation.
Stay tuned for the date sometime the second half of July
We will present reports on all of our current programs, have a guest speaker, share delicious food, and raffle some fun stuff.
Know these simple but important best practices and please share with your friends, family and other visitors to the lake.
